"One cannot help but be in awe when one contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality, …It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery each day."

THE FOUNDATION
18. The Impossible Is Possible
The standard, average, usual, and natural are considered normal. What is exceptional, remarkable, miraculous, or supernatural is paranormal. Of course paranormal experiences are not scientifically explainable because the paranormal supersedes ordinary events in mysterious and astounding ways. The supernatural seems to transcend the laws of nature and the laws governing the universe, as we understand it. We can easily accept that dogs have a supernormal sense of smell or that cats have the extraordinary ability to see in the dark. What boggles the mind is when humans suggest that they have abilities beyond the physical realm. Human beings, however, are body, soul, and spirit; therefore, it should not be surprising that they possess abilities beyond the physical.
